My Donation to 11 Summits Movement and CASA programs

Check out this awesome letter I received from 11 Summits Movement and the CASA Programs.

Dear Brett Maas,

You have helped change a child’s story! On behalf of the 11 Summits movement, thank you for your generosity and your donation to help children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Your recent gift of $500 will help the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) programs in both Arizona and Colorado provide advocacy for youth living in foster care.

Children who are removed from their home due to abuse or neglect are most in need of a dedicated and consistent adult in their life to ensure that their best interest is protected. That is the role of a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). With a CASA volunteer in place, children in foster care do better in school, spend less time in foster care, and are less likely to re-enter foster care.

Because of your generous donation, the CASA programs in both Arizona and Colorado can continue to recruit, train, and support more CASA volunteers to provide advocacy for these most vulnerable children.

With your support, we are dedicated to growing the CASA program to meet the needs of our communities with the vision of giving every lost and voiceless child a brighter future.

Thank you again for your generous support.

Warm Regards,

11 Summits and CASA Team

One of My Favorite Organizations to Give to, St. Jude

I always like to share giving back to inspire any other people that read this to give back to their favorite charities or organization in their communities that need it.

Just got this from St. Jude for the St. Jude Walk/Run I just did. I encourage others to do what they can when they can especially with organizations like St. Jude that operate 100% based on donations and help kids.

Dear Brett,

Thank you for your generous $100.00 donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We’re incredibly grateful for your support to help end childhood cancer.

Because of donors like you:

  • Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%.
  • Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Did you know that many employers match charitable contributions made by their employees? Visit stjude.org/matchinggifts, ask your employer or call us at (800) 871-2759 to see if your gift can be doubled.

Please note that you’ll receive a donation acknowledgement letter in the mail for tax purposes. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

I am currently raising funds for Capability Health and Human Services AKA Easterseals.

Capability Health and Human Services is a 501c3 that offers services to children and adults with a wide range of developmental disabilities, autism, down’s syndrome, alzheimer’s, dementia, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, or have had a stroke.

They provide a place outside the home to thrive and socialise. Though rehabilitation, counseling, exercise, adult day services, day trips, education, early intervention, independent learning, and employment training they help individuals find their place in the world.

My ask is that you please help Capability Health and Services by donating through my link. Together we can help make a difference in many families lives.
